1’s v Cambridge University 7-0 Goalscorers: Rich Heywood (2) Craig Smith (2) Tom Frenzel, Jack Wheaton, Matt Jackman POTM Craig Smith Bishops Stortford and Cambridge University took on each other in a match where both were vying to avoid relegation. Ladies Match Reports – 16th March 2024 (and one for Sunday too!)
Ladies 1’s v Blueharts 1’s 2-1 Saturday saw Stortford ladies travel away to Blueharts to earn a hard fought 3 point win. While Stortford asserted some early dominance, with two well taken goals scored by Abbie Barrett, credit must go to the Blueharts goal keeper who made some fantastic saves to deny Stortford from capitalising any further and keep her side within reach of Stortford heading into half time.
