Bishop’s Stortford Ladies 1’s secure promotion to the National League and take the East Premier title, whilst Men’s 2’s and Ladies Acolytes (6’s) both confirmed as league champions.

The Ladies 1’s made club history this weekend, winning the East Premier League title and the one National League promotion spot, with a 3-2 away win against the City of Peterborough. With promotion secured and the pressure now off, they’ll be looking forward to their homecoming, with a final league match against Old Loughts at Beldams Lane on Saturday.

The Men’s 2’s, promoted last week, confirmed their title with an emphatic 5-0 away win against Harpenden 2’s. The win leaves them 7 points clear or local rivals Hertford at the top of East Division 3 South West.

Whilst the Ladies Acolytes (6’s), already guaranteed promotion, were confirmed as champions of East Division 6 South East without even hitting a ball. Having been awarded a walkover, their nearest rivals could only muster a draw. A fantastic season for the Acolytes with only 1 loss and 6 goals conceded.
