1s v Cambridge South 1s – 2–2 (Adam Farley, Henry Carr) 

Bishop’s Stortford 1s drew 2–2 with Cambridge South 1s after an evenly matched encounter. Both sides scored in quick succession twice, with Cambridge taking the lead in the 45th and 60th minutes and Stortford replying immediately through Adam Farley and Henry Carr. A fair result after a competitive performance from both teams.

2s v Hertford 2s – 1–2 (Richard Turner)

Stortford 2s were narrowly beaten 2–1 by Hertford 2s despite a strong team performance. Richard Turner scored Stortford’s goal, finishing a well-worked move, but Hertford’s clinical short corner routines proved the difference. The game was evenly contested throughout, with Stortford unlucky not to take a share of the points. 

3s v Vauxhall 1s – 4–2 (Gregg Pettit x2, Harry Leonard x2) 

The 3s extended their unbeaten start to the season with a 4–2 win against Vauxhall 1s. Doubles from Z secured victory in an assured attacking display 

4s v Luton Town 2s – 2–3 

Stortford 4s suffered a narrow 3–2 defeat against Luton Town 2s in a tightly fought contest. Despite periods of dominance and sustained attacking pressure, Luton made the most of their chances to edge the result.  

5s v Blueharts 5s – 2–7 (Will Fox, Adrian Smith) 

The 5s faced a tough challenge against Blueharts 5s, falling 7–2 despite a strong effort. Will Fox and Adrian Smith found the net for Stortford, who battled hard throughout against experienced opposition. 

5s v Stevenage 2s – 3–4 (Collin Sharp x2, Jeevan Basra) 

In their second match of the weekend, Stortford 5s put in another resilient display but were edged out again 4–3 by Stevenage 2s. Collin Sharp scored twice from penalty corners, with Jeevan Basra adding another. Despite late pressure, Stortford narrowly missed out on a draw. 

6s v Hertford 6’s  – 1-2 (Henry Lowe) 

Bishop’s Stortford 6s suffered a last-gasp defeat away at Hertford 6s on Saturday, falling 2-1 after a tightly contested and spirited match. Despite significant pressure and a host of chances, the visitors were undone by a final Hertford short corner
