1s v Cambridge University 1s – 2–6 

Bishop’s Stortford 1s faced a strong Cambridge University side and were beaten 6–2 in a fast-paced and open encounter. 
Despite a competitive start, Cambridge’s sharp attacking play saw them take an early lead, capitalising on quick passing and movement. Stortford responded well, pulling a goal back midway through the first half and showing promise on the counter. 
The visitors added another before the break to go into half-time with a slim lead.  Stortford continued to fight in the second half, scoring again through a well-worked team move, but Cambridge’s clinical finishing proved decisive as they scored four second half goals to take the win 6-2 

2s v Stevenage 1s – 1–7 (Richard Turner) 

Stortford 2s endured a difficult afternoon against an experienced Stevenage 1s side, falling to a 7–1 defeat. 
Stevenage started strongly, converting early chances to establish control, going into the break 4-0 up. A further three followed in the second half before Richard Turner grabbed a consolation goal  

3s v Hertford 3s – 5–1 

Bishop’s Stortford 3s continued their perfect start to the season with an impressive 5–1 win over Hertford 3s. 
The home side were dominant from the outset, combining pace and accuracy in attack. Steve Beel struck twice, while Mark Taylor and Harry McKerrell also found the net as Stortford’s forwards linked up effectively. 
 
The defence limited Hertford to few chances and maintaining their 100% winning start to the season 

4s v Stevenage 2s – 3–5 (Vernon Brown x3) 

The 4s were narrowly defeated 5–3 by Stevenage 2s in an end-to-end contest. 
Vernon Brown was in fine form, scoring a hat-trick – two from well-executed penalty corners – to keep Stortford in contention. The match remained in the balance at 4–3 late on before Stevenage added a fifth in the closing moments. 
 

5s v Letchworth 3s – 1–4 (Ross Haworth) 

 
After a tight opening period, Letchworth took advantage of early chances to take the lead before half-time. Stortford responded through Ross Haworth, who finished well, but a flurry of late goals from Letchworth sealed the result. 

6s v Shefford & Sandy 3s – 0–3 

Stortford 6s battled hard in a physical game against Shefford & Sandy 3s but were beaten 3–0. 
 
The visitors took an early lead before extending their advantage. Stortford continued to defend  well, with Dan Lowe in goal making several important saves.
