If you want to get back into playing hockey again or try for the first time, we run a beginners session for all adults. It’s fun, social, informal and each session is led by an experienced coach.

Recent graduates of the programme have gone on to play regularly for the club, including members of our league winning Ladies 6’s and 7’s.

Don’t worry if you’re new to the game or haven’t played for a while, our coach Richard Temple will gently guide you through a series of fun and friendly sessions in a relaxed environment.

“Give it a go. It’s natural to feel apprehensive returning to the sport. Yet, one now established club player said to me, ‘I regret not coming back to hockey earlier than I did.’ The environment is supportive and friendly and you can go at your own pace.”

Come and join us from Sunday 10 July at Hockerill College from 10:00. Sessions last 75 mins and will run until August bank holiday.

We can provide a stick if needed. We recommend bringing a drink. Comfortable sports clothing and trainers are best. Shin pads and a gum shield are strongly recommended.

Please get in touch with Richard (DT) here for more information or to find out more about coming along for a trial session.
