We are pleased to announce that Bishop’s Stortford Hockey Club has been reaccredited for another 3 years as a ClubMark club, making us one of a select number across England to achieve the England Hockey ClubMark status.
To become England Hockey ClubMark accredited BSHC has demonstrated that the club operates to a set of core criteria and has good practices in place to ensure that we deliver quality hockey in a sustainable and vibrant club environment.
This includes things such as:
- Having proper plans in place
- Managing our finances effectively
- Maintaining a safe environment with proper welfare protections
- Effective planning of our hockey and the development of our players
- Engaging with our local community and encouraging participation in hockey
