Bishop’s Stortford Hockey Club are delighted to announce a new multi-year sponsorship deal with local law firm and independent financial advisers, Tees. BSHC, formed in 1948, has a long and proud history with the local community, based for many years in Cricketfield Lane before moving to the new Herts & Essex Sports Centre in 2019.

Through our affiliation, Tees will help the team carry the momentum forward which sees the Ladies 1st XI embark on a newer and tougher level of competition in the National League starting in the 2022/20233 season. The multi-year sponsorship deal will assist in having the best playing standard at elite level in the East of England and be the best place to develop female role models for umpiring and coaching.

Ashton Hunt, Group Managing Director, commented “We are extremely proud to sponsor the Ladies 1st XI team going forward. Tees are invested in supporting our local community so to be able to partner with BSHC and to be part of the club’s journey into the National League is very exciting.

BSHC Ladies Section Captain Richard Temple commented “We’re delighted that Tees have recognised the pre-eminence of our Ladies’ 1st XI spearheading women’s sport in our area. We are exceptionally grateful and proud to partner with them.”
