Back to Hockey returns at 9.30am on Sunday, 2nd July at Hockerill, plus it’s completely FREE!

We have run Back to Hockey since 2012 and over 170 players have attended over the last decade. It is an accessible way to return at your own pace with like minded-people.

Perhaps your children or partner currently plays, then why not come along to understand the game more?

Will you be good enough? Yes, you will. We have coached complete novices and developed them into league players.

What if you haven’t played for years? The longest lapsed player who has turned up hadn’t played for over 31 years. She now plays regular league hockey. For me Back to Hockey is personal, I hadn’t played for over 14 years before I returned to the sport.

What if I don’t want to play league hockey? Don’t worry – we’d love you to get the bug to play more regularly. However, we just want you to understand our sport a little bit better.

What if I don’t have a stick? We can lend you one. However, we do recommend that you wear shinpads and a mouthguard – just in case. It is also recommended for women to wear a good sports bra.

When and where is it again? 9.30am-10.45am from 2nd July at Hockerill College astro…and will run every Sunday until 27th, August.

Can I bring a friend? Yes, please do. B2H is open to anyone aged over 18 who hasn’t played any league hockey in the last 2 years.

How do I find out more? Get in touch with me on [email protected] or drop me a WhatsApp or text on 07946 671552.

Event Details: Every Sunday 2nd July to 27th August from 9.30am – 11am at Hockerill College.
