Stortford 8s entered a new league this season and secured a 3-0 win at home against Welwyn 3s. Under blue skies, Stortford got off to a flying start with a goal in the first 5 mins (Megan Laws), setting the team up for a solid performance followed by another 2 goals (Eileen Adams, Esme Wood) in the second half. Stortford 8s tenaious defending and commanding goal keeper kept a deserved clean sheet. Stortford 8s showed brilliant team work throughout for a worthy win!
